Our annual fundraiser looks a little different this year, but we want to include our members in the live show.
We’re asking for 30-second videos from you answering the following questions:
- Why do you follow Restore the Delta?
- What the Delta mean to you?
- What do you want for the Delta’s future?
Not a tech expert? No problem! Just shoot the video on your smartphone and email it to mariah@restorethedelta.org.
We will include 10 of the submitted videos in our live show on June 4th at 6:00. We want to honor the people that have supported us over the years, while making sure that everyone is safe.
The deadline to submit your video is Friday May 21, 2021!

As we bounce back from tough times, we need regular, sustained donations from a broad array of people who are concerned about the San Francisco Bay Delta Estuary.
Our Living Delta will help us do things like secure an office for water quality testing, make sure that we have technology and resources needed to continue training the next generation to be the guardians of the estuary. It will also allow us to continue monitoring what’s happening in the estuary and keep us engaged in government processes to bring improvements to the Delta.

This benefit is so important because it is for the recovery for our organization and will support the work that we are doing for the estuary. At it, you will hear directly from people we work with on the ground about what is it we are accomplishing at Restore the Delta, what our future goals are, and how we want to bring about improvements for the estuary. We have equipment that we have to acquire and funding needed for additional staff, so that we can meet our goals and start working on water quality issues at a deeper level.
We will have online auction items, prizes for donations, Delta music, Delta art, visits with tomorrow’s leaders, and more. We’re even going to have online wine tasting! This is the best way we can share with you the work that we are doing while keeping our community safe as we begin to recover in the Delta and in California.

$10,000 – Fund critical water quality equipment
$25,000 – Covers our accounting, legal, and administrative fees
$30,000 – General Op funds (insurance, website, print materials, snacks for youth, travel)

$200,000 – Fully fund current staff, including new Delta Government Oversight Advocate (3 full time equivalents) and 2 part time contractors
