Two Upcoming Events on the Delta: In Case You Missed it!

Here are two upcoming events in the following weeks that both aim to uplift our cause. We hope you to see you at both or one of these events!

Saturday, April 23, 2016: Stockton Ports Game and Delta Awareness Night

We will be releasing our first coloring book at the Stockton Ports game vs Inland Empire 66ers. The coloring book: Finding Primo (The Delta Smelt). Take part in a scavenger hunt and stay after the game for post-game fireworks! Tickets are $10 and only 100 are available — you must buy from Restore the Delta to have proceeds benefit our cause.

Location: 457 N Van Buren St, Stockton
Time: 7:10 pm

Saturday April 30, 2016: What would the Delta Say?
Rights of Nature Tribunal

The Tribunal will address nature’s, community, and human rights violations specific to reduced flows in the Delta. It will particularly address the harm that the Governor’s proposed Delta Tunnels plan would do to those limited flows, as well as to the fish and Delta communities that depend on a healthy Bay-Delta Estuary.

Tribunal witnesses and experts will also offer solutions to water flow and supply challenges that protect, not injure, nature’s rights and human rights.

This event is free and open to the public, but will require an RSVP.

Location:  Nick Rodriguez Community Center, 213 F Street, Antioch
Time: 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
