Kicking the Water Bond can down the road

The L.A. Times reports that in an effort to help boost Governor Brown’s tax initiative, Democratic legislators are preparing to remove the $11.14 billion water bond from the November ballot.  The water bond was part of the 2009 Delta Reform legislation, and it was originally going to be on the 2010 ballot.  Supporters of the bond keep delaying it, hoping that the economy will improve enough to make it palatable to California taxpayers.  We’d like Californians to have a chance to vote on it and defeat it.
